Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, i'm already a member at Watford & District where I do smallbore. Club also does monthly trips to Bisley for fullbore. May well be there this Sunday doing 600m using club gun.

I agree - we have a great Firearms team here in herts/beds/cambs. When I see the grief a friend of mine is going through in Buckinghamshire (Thames Valley) - and the stories of waiting 9 months for a renewal - I can only feel blessed ;) Hopefully i'll be all sorted with my FAC before the year is out. My SGC only took about 3-4 weeks start-to-finish a few years ago.

Hello and welcome

Also from Herts, used to be the best but seeing as the new top man (from Cambs) at the licensing office has a bee in his bonnet about ammo holding, not any more.
(300 max to hold for target shooting, less for hunting **** , just wait for the renewal complaints...)

Just had my interview today for my first FAC (have had SGC for a while). 1100 in .22 (my choice of expanding or target), and 300 for .243 (again, my choice of expanding or target).

Got all the firearms I asked for too. Closed ticket for the moment, but he said come back to him in a year and show some experience vouched by someone with an open ticket, and he'll open it up for me

lollol

I think Hertfordshire are one of the best licensing teams out there.
