We think it'll produce a good few bacon sarnies. All we have to do now is cajole Mr Plod into allowing us one...

I've always thought the sporting thing to do with Boar is to use a double rifle. Seems to be the right thing to do. A real man v beast scenario with a Bowie as back up.

I have a couple of "interesting invites" this year and have invested in a Sako 75 Stainless Synthetic in .300 Win Mag mounted with a Swarovski Z4i 1.25-4 x 24.

If I connect it's going down!

Countryman..

I had a Sako 75 in .270win great rifle. It had a nicely figured woodwork that crawling around Argyll after the Hinds knocked about a bit I should have gone for synthetic. As is usual (for me) I regretted selling it almost immediately.

I have the same rifle in 25-06 too. Been my stalking rifle for 15 years. Love it!

There is a synthetic 75 in .300 up on the stalking directory at the moment but the fella selling it is currently after over a grand for it.
