  That, along with the previous Guardian statement needs to go in the hall of fame for off the cuff comments, excellent work Froggy

Chuck, what can I say about foreigners? You and I even live with them!

ovenpaa, imagine me being married to a Muslim lass    . **** She's a star.

froggy and I share the same sense of humour I reckon, I doubt many on here would see me as a Guardian reader...

I must be getting sensitive in my old age...I just saw the connotations of my jibe and what happened in the German 39-45 tour of France...Not that is not much the same here.

When I did French at school (hated it but can still get by) the new French teaching lad was a right cochon. He wrote the whole lesson on the blackboard before lunch. Me being me and unseen (sneaky) I headed the article Je n'aime pas les francais. or whatever. Arrived at class 5 minutes early to see POURQOI? Written undreneath...so I rubbed out the whole lesson and bunked off early.

Actually been to France: Normandy and Britanny also the Swiss/France border area...nice!
