Hiya, new memeber to here! I've had it with other forums lots of sillyness,I hope here is diffrent I've heard it is! ........about me,I'm in my early 40's been shooting for 25 years, all pistol till the ban, then clays, now onto gr and fullbore.....air pistol, and a little historic stuFf too!.....I'm an nra member (but don't know why I bother) and ukpsa and sportamns association memeber too..I live in west wiltshire and am on. And have been on my clubs committee so I know how things work in the shooting world.....and whilst the country generally is seeing an upsurge in people taking up shooting sports I feel as a wider community of shooters in general I feel we are even more split these days....I hope this forum provides some pulling together.....

We get our share of silliness from time to time too. :o

That is the joy of our multifaceted membership with their eclectic tastes and diverse interests, not to say esoteric opinions.

Welcome to F-B(UK) forward Observer, hopefully the forum lives up to your expectations. The good thing about the Full Bore forum is independence, there are no site sponsors, no large marketing machines, no adverts or click throughs and no fees, just turn up and post to your hearts content, it will be good to hear your views on the unifying of UK shooters as it is certainly something I dream of seeing one day.

It doesn't need everyone to unify, it just needs enough.

FOBS, welcome. Criticism of the NRA? Not on this forum, well, not more than once a day. Unity of purpose amongst different disciplines? Shame on you for such radical ideas. Don't you know that the world is still inhabited by dinosaurs?

:cool2:

Anyway, serious welcome, care to join the fungunners?
