Hi
while idling time away on the range in the sun, I had a look at my Pedersoli CO2 ball remover. I hope never to have to resort to this but found that none of the adapters fitted my British-made PH P58. I would like to have one made up, just in case. The web suggests the thread is 5/16 x 18 on this rifle. 5/16 UNC also has a pitch of 18tpi - do any of you engineering gurus know if this is the same thread please?
The other option would be to buy a spare nipple and then braze/solder on a tube threaded to take the ball puller.
Any advice welcome
Many thanks
Donald

Re: PH Nipple Thread
Bin the Pedersoli CO2 item as it is metric only, so worse than useless, and you only get one skoosh per CO2 cartridge and get a bicycle CO2 inflater. they usually come with three adaptors that fit large and small nipples and flintlocks, they also have an off on trigger so that you can get multiple skooshes per cartridge.
Come on Bambi get some
