Patching a Lee R.E.A.L ?

#1 Post by Dahonis »

I need some advice please?....again helpsign

I have a .54 Flintlock that shoots a patched ball exceptionally well.

I purchased a Lee REAL mould a while ago and just recently cast some using pure lead.

The boolits do not engage at loading, they are undersized and pretty much just say slide doon the muzzle.

So, in a quest to learn something new, is it even possible to paper patch this design in a bid to get them onto target?

I know I can buy a decent mold for it, but as I have plenty of time, could it technically work?????? any????

Kind Regards

Chris
