Either a Lee mold 90gn SWC or a Hornady 85gn XTP. I have found PPU 98gn RN .32 S&W Long factory ammo to be outstanding!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

You found a S&W Model 16?!! You lucky ba$tard!! :D

I shoot .32 cal. I love .32s. Well currently a .32-20, a .32-40, a .32 Win Spl and....

.32 H&R Magnum!

But, my H&R isn’t out of a Smith, unfortunately. It is a “bucket list” gun for me! Yep, I’m an optimist! I have a very, very rare Marlin 1894 Ltd Cwby in .32 H&R. I also run .32 S&W Long through it much the same as .38 Spl through a .357 mag.
Can't sneak anything past you can I, yep, model 16
not that I have it yet, but the variation is going in this week. unfortunately my application for the M&P9 and a sig 220 both got rejected. so means I have funds for this instead.
also going for a webley mkV that looks mint!

so, what do you use bullet wise Sim?

Hey Bud,

I trust this finds ou and yours well. A real quick question. Did you ever get the variation for the Model 16?

Cheers,

Simon.

That model 16 was a “Grail Gun” for me....! It was a four inch I coveted as well. And evidently still do! lol lol lol

Even after 20 years and whilst holding 36 firearms and 8 shotguns, having probably another 60 or so through my hands since, I am still utterly bitter towards governments and the the civil service for every gun ban in history!

We are no safer and a whole lot “poorer” for it!

I am fortunate to have found a Walther PPK in 7.65 mm (.32 ACP) in the 1980s when the West German police got rid of them. Don't shoot it much, but it's a wonderful thing to just hold. Fantastic design.
