anyone shoot 32 cal?

#1 Post by bradaz11 »

any one shoot one of the 32's, like 32 S&W long or short, 32 H&R Mag, or even 32 ACP?

if yes, do you reload, and where do you buy your bullets and cases?

If you buy, where from?

and how do you find it in general?

32-40 brass has to be made yourself - I use 38-55 brass easy to form.
Bullets from shellhouse.
32-40 really nice to shoot.

I fun shoot 32ACP in my Vz.61 and/or use it to transition nervous handgun shooters from 22lr to 9 Para as it is very soft. I only shoot factory ammo .

I used to be a fan of the little .32" calibres when we had pistols. Nice guns to go with them I found them easy to load for, fun to develop and lovely to shoot. .32 wasn't a target calibre of choice for no reason.

I just shoot .32-20 in a Uberti 1866 now.

Used to shoot a lot of .32 s&w long back in the golden days.

98 grain swaged .313 full wadcutter with 1.6 grains Bullseye.

Now I have a muzzle loading .32 Zylab Patriot shooting a Lee cast wadcutter with 1.2 grains Bullseye.

well I'm going to be looking at a variation for a 32H&R S&W revolver, not usually made in 4". but 32 isn't something I know a lot about.

You found a S&W Model 16?!! You lucky ba$tard!! :D

I shoot .32 cal. I love .32s. Well currently a .32-20, a .32-40, a .32 Win Spl and....

.32 H&R Magnum!

But, my H&R isn’t out of a Smith, unfortunately. It is a “bucket list” gun for me! Yep, I’m an optimist! I have a very, very rare Marlin 1894 Ltd Cwby in .32 H&R. I also run .32 S&W Long through it much the same as .38 Spl through a .357 mag.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

not that I have it yet, but the variation is going in this week. unfortunately my application for the M&P9 and a sig 220 both got rejected. so means I have funds for this instead.
also going for a webley mkV that looks mint!

so, what do you use bullet wise Sim?
