So I have my grubby mitts on the coverted MH, it has been stripped and cleaned and ready for shooting.
I also have some NDFS brass, my question is as I have made ready to reload reformed brass, is this to be retreated any different.
I am semi competent with reloading, but advice on this brass would be much appreciated.
The picture is pre clean and not very good, sorry.

It does not have any markings on the breech, but I am sure it's a MKIII.

Calibre?

Is it the original 450"/577"?

I like the original NDFS brass but it does need neck annealing.

Yes it is original 577/450, as far as I can tell.

I still have to measure thebore etc for bullet size, but wanted to ensure the brass was a good choice.

As you can see there are no markings on the breach face.

NDFS Brass is quite tough and does need a bit more annealing and appreciates a good lubricant like imperial sizing wax. I once failed to use enough and ripped the rim off a case. It took a bit of heat, a steel rod and a small hammer to remove.
Looks like you have a nice commercially made Mark III rifle. You may be able to find some makers marks under the wood.

Many thanks I was quite stumped, this is what I found under the wood.

Yes the Lee Dies are fine. I use mine for case forming as well.
