If by non toxic you mean lead free? Then why?

Aye, allegedly a “commercial based decision” made by the Game Dealers Association or some body…

As lead free tends to be lighter, you’ve got to drive them faster to make the figures. And, that bullets will slow down quicker with less energy hitting the beast. Shot deer may behave differently when shot. It’s worth considering.

Personally, I think it’s Bollox. Some activists are behaving as it lead is polonium or Novochok. It is not a legal requirement but could become so. I don’t shoot game commercially so the outlet is not a concern of mine. After it’s gifted, probably less than 30% of what we shoot will see a game dealer. He made his request, so we’re going to donate it to the local zoos. Got three within half an hour and the all have big cats and wild dogs.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Lead would be no good at all if it was anything like Novichok, as that stuff ain't killed anything it was (supposedly) used on!!!!
