Lock down

#1 Post by Alpha1 »

I am loving this lock down. I am normally up to my ears in work.
Since been told to stay at home for two month I have drawn up a things to do daily .
I am knee deep in re loaded ammo.
My guns are all pristine clean.
I have started to set out the area for my new shed.
I have cleared out my existing shed and moved the wood lathe to give me more room.
I completed an order for ten .308 bullet pens.
The list just goes on with a bit of luck I wont have to go back to work for at least three month or even longer would be good.

In the mean time I hope and pray that there is an end to this thing and no body else gets sick.

I echo your sentiments!
All of those jobs that were piling up and that I just never had time for are now completed. My garden looks great and I've never been bored. Having an organised job list is key to all of this.
Hopefully, we can get back to some normality in the very near future and YES ... no more fatalities please!

One thing that really surprises me is that there are not more "New Posts" on here. I would have thought that with all this enforced idleness, posts would be stacking up. What is everybody doing instead?

I'm still working, albeit in my loft rather than the office.

I've been working from home for the past three weeks, but the plant just shut down for a fortnight so even the home workers were forced to take the two weeks off. Aside from work, I've been trying to keep myself occupied with some air pistol shooting, cycling on turbo trainer, playing games and watching TV. The first two weeks was hard, as I'm used to seeing and talking to dozens of people in a day and now it's like 2 people in a day if I'm lucky.

I haven't even considered the reloading shed yet. Whilst my safe is currently at 75% capacity there's a ton of brass prep I can still do, but it's getting the motivation to do so given that my shed has kinda turned into a dumping ground over the past month.
