so you install the app and pass a 'nutter' who wants to prove its all a hoax . Whats to stop him saying im infected and then the 20 people he has walked past times the 7 day period plus the people they have been in contact all are advised to self isolate .

is it just a way of exteding the lockdown ?

Spot on :good:

Also...as soon as the Government lifts, partly or entirely, the lock down, because as some point they will, we'll see what the numbers do.

How many infected, how many in hospital, how many dead.

I shudder to think how the numbers would be now if the country had never been locked down.

We can forget about herd immunity, it does not exist with C-19.

It does.

The small remnant of the herd which remains is immune.

Which is why people with a particular desire to remain untracked eschew smartphones.

When it comes to privacy apps like this are certainly not at the top of the list, what about social media, cookies, shopping with Amazon, location services across multiple platforms... The list goes on and on. Even shopping with Tescos and that is before you walk into a town and start counting the cameras. or you drive out past the ANPR systems.

Anyone that lives in the is country has left it a bit late to worry about privacy. Oh, before people start telling me it will be different with Labour, well you just know that is utter bolloxck, your party kicked off the theft of our identities under the tutelage of Blair and his cronies.

You want anonymity, throw you smart phone away, steal a bicycle and head away from civilisation as fast as your feet can peddle.

I don't know if it helps but my location is always switched off and other than here and Gunboards I'm not on any other social media.....that said with all the parcels I've had from Russia and Ukraine over the years I'm probably on someone's watch list! :run: ussrflag

I don't have a smartphone....................not because I don't want to be tracked, but because I simply have no use for one.
