Turkish copies of Vepr 12 going full auto ?

#1 Post by breacher »

Just heard on the grapevine that a Turkish Saiga / Molot clone has gone full auto at a London club shoot in the past few days.

Only a rumour and apparently due to a trigger mech problem ?

Anybody here heard similar ? Or was actually there ?

I know someone with a Hatsan Escort who had the same problem.

It is usually down to people fiddling with the trigger, the Escort is remarkably prone to going full auto with very little effort.

I have heard a Molot do it. There had been some tinkering on the sear so a lesson was learnt.

This one was straight out of the box so yes, very little effort indeed! Edgar Brothers sorted it out quickly though.
