It would be great to see them introduced over here, but I won't be holding my breath. It's definitely a very interesting design, though!

Unlikely due to the sanctions imposed on JSC Kalashnikov Concern, same reason we aren't getting new Saiga's etcLes wrote:It would be great to see them introduced over here, but I won't be holding my breath. It's definitely a very interesting design, though!

Does this gun not date back to the 1990's??
All these restrictions are just so silly.

YES IT WAS
The shotgun is called MP-131K. It was designed in 1997 and sold in very limited quantities.

Re: Russian Pump Action Shotgun
I think it's ugly (with the mag in place) and a bit of a faff to be honest.
Maybe some military police /application for being able to switch to various loads but for most peeps it's just a gimmick.
Apparently sales were not huge. I can believe it.
I'm not saying I haven't bought stuff swayed by the cool factor in the past - but I invariably got bored of it quickly and soon got shot of.
Much sooner have my old Winchester 12 pump again - one of a number of lovely guns I sold when I thought my move to the US was going to be permanent. :(
