Roe have delayed implantation so are pregnant for more of the open season than not, as for muntjac common guidance is to only shoot heavily pregnant does so as to limit the possibility of shooting a doe with a dependant fawn, which is where the real animal welfare issue would be.Jenks wrote:And of course if you shoot a Muntjac Doe at anytime*, you run the risk she may be pregnant.
