Our bit for conservation

We have the smallest pond in the world.

It is at the moment occupied by two frogs, there is a third one around somewhere.

Plans are to get a bigger pond at some point.

I left a 2 gallon plastic builders bucket outside and then suddenly find a few cm of water in it and a large amount of frog spawn that it now slowly growing.

Very true, over the past 10 years, what was a reasonably open area of derelict nursery covering about 7+ hectares (17.5 acres) has slowly been reclaimed by nature - trees, shrubs and plenty of wildlife. My problem is stopping it taking over my garden!
