Quite amazing when you consider we come with built in highly developed genocide and war making qualities, cruelty and indifference to each others suffering, not too mention the ability we have to feed the starving and cure many common ills which we choose not to do. So surprising we are doing so well breeding wise and that is without the existential threats of pestilence, asteroid collision and getting eaten by a giant space goat.

Mind you this global warming thing must just be the killer we are looking for that might do us in, just that is likely to take a lot of the other species with us. What is badgers plan for survival as things "hot up" even more?

We were wandering around a 68,000 acre estate a bit ago and the subject of Fox cropped up. Apparently shooting Fox was very much frowned upon in that part of the Wolds and it was remarked upon that Foxes were shot in our part of the Wolds with some disdain. I noticed the Viking smile when she heard that.
