Nick came to see us today for some work to be done on a shotgun, as I was unaware of his art and Ovenpaa and Nick started talking about it, they are following eachother online somewhere, I decided to take a look once Nick had left.

As I said, it catches your eye, doesn't it.

Each item takes Nick weeks and weeks and he does scrap them on occasion, as he pointed out today, a 3 legged deer or a Labrador without a tail is not ideal.

The patience...something I certainly do not have...

Each item is mounted with a pin so there is a 3-D effect, the item has to be checked from all angles to make sure it is straight.

After the first I would be pulling my hair out :)

... Nick delivers these by hand as he is yet to find a courier he trusts and even then is wary of bumps and pot holes on the drive to the customer. I think I will stick to guns!
