I am sure that will make a lot of people happy. I shan't say in public what I think of these people.

Here we go again 5mith

By all means cull the badgers, there are too many of them and they have no enemies apart from cars, just do not pretend that it helps stopping the spread of TB.

consider me heartless, inhuman or whatever, but my view is we live in a controlled countryside, we control the numbers of most animals in that countryside, if any population,be it Badgers, rabbits,Deer or any other grows too large we reduce its numbers, or in the case of the cuddly Coypu we erradicate it!
Badgers numbers are growing fast in a lot of areas, whether or not they are carriers of Bovine TB (and there seems to be plenty of evidence and arguments both ways) the number need to be reduced in some areas, even the Badger enthusiasts accept that to some degree.
As to the TB question, well normally when these things need to proved/disproved there is a small scale test, the original test was so badly run and burdened with regulation and constraints as to be worthless, so now they are trying again.
I am not personally involed in this but I am aware of people who are, and some people who have declined because they are literally afraid for theirs and their families safety!
if suporting the Anti cull movement means supporting people who are happy to make vile and violent threats against other people, do damage to property, then I for one will not be on that side of the line!

KennyC :good:

The Antis have no idea how much damage they are creating fighting for their cause. Or perhaps they do...

I once watched a documentary about saving a woods, some of the people were there until the fight had been won/lost then they would move on to the next cause and that is how they lived their lives. So they fight for the sake of the fight...
