Mini McQueen is brilliant!

I tried it a couple of times last year and loved it - I was gutted that I couldn't make the Autumn Action Weekend this year, as I hear they had it running for the whole weekend...

...it's quick and cheap to shoot, so it's one of those comps that you can fit in around other shooting...and is serous fun tongueout

Your original link was from an embedded post somewhere? I had to go back to the youtube account and pick up the url from the video itself.

My local range is 25 yards, which prompted me to thinking how easy it would be to build an arduino based version of one of these for 25 yards...

Could have hours of fun at the range with one of these...!

I was just thinking the very same thing. The code wouldn't be too difficult, everything could be run off stepper motors. Not sure if they're detecting the sound of a shot or the pressure of a hit if there is any

Not sure they would need to do either, once the competition has started the sequence should run regardless of how the shooter is doing.

It does look like a lot of fun.

If anyone is knocking such a system up them would be interested in one.
