Brilliant :good:
This state school in England teaches kids how to shoot, and to gut and cook pigeons. “The cotton wool culture of Britain has got a little bit out of control" says the headteacher.

If you always tell kids to put on a coat how will they know when it's cold. Kids are way too pampered and mollicoddled thanks to compo lawyers, H&S and of course lazy assed perents who teach their kids NOTHING and want to blame someone else for everything.

Accidents DO happen, as do bad words etc - people need to man up!

Health and Safety is a red herring. It doesn't tell you that you can't do things, merely that you must assess and quantify the risks. It's PC that's to blame and the nanny state! That school is not flying in the face of Health and Safety legislation, it is complying. Schools have in the main been hijacked by the PC brigade to produce little Blairite's who believe in Multiculturalism, Climate Change, the EU, Gayness etc. It has been as cynical and deliberate as all the other components in the grand plan to engineer our society and destroy what the liberals/globalists despise.

You cannot engineer out accidents. Of course kids should have a safe environment, but they have to LEARN to spot dangers, something that I imagine is not happening nowadays.

With that I agree 100%! :good: :good:

My youngest goes to a 'forest school' a couple of days a week (they own their own woods!)
Yesterday they collected eggs, built a campfire, made pointy sticks, cooked dampers and eggs on the open fire and went fishing. Little one comes home smelling of smoke, dirty, sometimes a bit wet but with the biggest smile on his face-sleeps like a log as well. Thats what education is all about-plenty of time for the 3R's latter on.
The fact that the young woman that owns it is rather tidy and has an aversion to bras has nothing to do with us sending him there. ;)
