I've not had tablet for years, my grannie used to make it with vanilla and it was very moorish. I did get into trouble for eating more than my fair share.

Teacakes have never really done it for me, now a Lee's Macaroon Bar is the epitome of sweet and the height of turpitude. (Especially deep fried in batter)
SO, deep fried Mars Bar is relegated to second place now?

Nothing could beat Strathaven (Stra'ven) toffee. McGowans tablet was also good.

Did Lees not also do a MINT macaroon bar?
