What? I went to all the effort of getting a grown up to sign a form saying I should have an air rifle (weapon) licence and I can't have one of those?! I want my £5 back...

Putting the fun factor to one side for a moment, It would be a section 1 minimum as by my calculations a 44.75 grain projectile at 673fps gives you 45ft/lbs. As a price guide the .30" calibre pellets are $12.99 per 100 so you're getting into .22LR territory to shoot. A lot of fun no doubt but quite an expensive experience. I thought someone had tried it with standard .22" pellets that may have come in below the 12ft/lbs? I wonder what the old fully auto gas powered BB guns you used to see at fairgrounds were classified as?
