Our barn roof was making so much noise that I was sure we had lost a few sheets. This morning, in the warm sunshine, everything looked normal outside. Fair to say our wind turbine stopped yesterday evening...it does that as a safety measure when it is a constant 60 or there about miles an hour.

My neighbor came round yesterday with a piece if cement, about six inches squarish, that they had found in their drive that they thought was ours. A trip up the garden with a pair of binoculars revealed that it had come from the top of the chimney, around the base of the pot. Another piece up there doesn't look too secure so a call to a roofer tomorrow. It is a small job, but I am too old to be going up there now. Fortunately, it missed their 71 reg car.
Regards
Peter.
