How tasteful - I'm sure that won't stay unsold for long!
Also I recognise that background - MFL?

It needs the barrel length halving and an over barrel sound moderator adding.

Parker Hale did very fine sporters on the No 4 action and one I have has been my red deer rifle for decades now.

Lithgow labelled Slazenger from the convict colony did sporterisations on the No1 action and competent rifles they are too. The favourite one in my collection is in 22 Hornet.

Musgrave in Sowff Efrika did a nice No1 action conversion too the "Springbok" rifle, there were various levels of customisation, I posted an letter on here I got from an ex employee who worked on the rifles. I have two in my collection one a nicely sporterised a la Parker Hale and custom No1 conversion that kept much of the original SMLE including the sights.

Both are chambered for the cartridge developed to go with these rifles, the 6mm Musgrave, 303 case necked down to .243 giving ballistics comparable to the .243" Winchester. I have never had a red complain when I've used it on them.
