Welcome to the club. I upgraded my laptop from 8 to 8.1 to 10, and it takes a bit of getting used to, although it's 100% better than 8.

I went from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I noticed a problem when trying to attach pictures to the forum. I tried on some of the other forums I visit and the problem is still there. What is more worrying is the fact it's messing up my 3D mapping stuff. If I can not sort it out by tomorrow evening I will remove it from my computer. I have backed up all my stuff so I can go back to Windows 7 if need be. It's just a chew on. I don't know why I bothered up grading 10 is pap.

Almost everyone I know that upgraded to 10 went back to their previous OS within a few weeks. It was because it's a free upgrade - new toy for no money outlay when their operating system was just fine. Then they had to wade through various application issues, errors, annoying glitches, things that hampered their usual use. Bah! Change for change's sake is always trouble.

Its gone now I'm back on windows 7. Windows 10 is pap absolute garbage. Never again. Going back to windows 7 is like a breath of fresh air. Everything just works. All the problems with my 3d stuff just vanished. Problem solved.

I bought a tablet thing for the wife it was supposed to have windows 8 but had windows 10, it was a complete disaster. A friend managed to get windows 8 back for her much better although I would have preferred 7. Windows 10 is insidious and nasty.

I am glad I run Linux on all my 'puters far superior to microshite.

Linux is fine. Unfortunately the programs I use will not run on Linux.

Out of all the Windows OS I have used I've had zero issues with Windows 7. I don't understand why Microsoft broke something that was already working so well, they've tried to simplify the OS to the point where it's unusable.

What I want to know is why images wouldn't attach to a forum because of Windows 10? I would've thought it was due to the version of the browser which might have been incompatible or something?

It was not as simple as that the problem started when using a program called radiant. It's a 3D program it malfunctioned several times. I took a screen shot of the error message it displayed. I then tried to add the screen shot to another forum not a shooting forum. To see if any one had experienced similar issues. While trying to attach it I got another error message referring to a picture I posted here on this forum and my computer froze. This happened on several occasions. There were also other issues with the 3D program. I went back to Windows 7 and the issues have gone everything is working fine as it did before the upgrade. I don't have time to mess about with a operating system with issues. So it's gone and good riddance. By the way I tried to add the screen shot here and got the same problem.
