Messages and pms hanging in my outbox - is it moi?

Hmm,

I've noticed this now on three separate occasions in the past week. Twice with replies I'm posting to threads, once with a PM (I wonder what'll happen when I push the button on this message??)

Even though I'm on broadband and permanently online (well, at least excepting when my head's on the pillow) composed messages hang around in my outbox. I composed a PM last evening and pressed [submit] but now it's tomorrow morning and it's still sitting in my [OUT] box. It says it was sent but if that's the case why hasn't it moved to my [sent messages] box?

I'm about to push the [submit] button on this message at thursday 0518.

Messages sit in the outbox until picked up by the recipient, then they go to sent messages so maybe that is the reason?
