Computer people helpz

#1 Post by Tower75 »

Hi all

It's embarrassing being in your mid-20s and more computer illiterate then cave man :cool2:

rifle, yes. PC, no.

There's something broken'd with the magic box I use to access the forum. I want to take a screen-print and post an image to see if anyone can help, but firstly, is there a way to take a screen-print and save it as a jpg?

Press CONTROL & PRTSC

This will take a screen capture

Paste to PAINT and save as Bitmap or JPEG - adjust properties of picture

Depending on your computer you might need to press Fn (Or function) which will be on the bottom left of your keypad & Prt Scr together, as opposed to Ctrl.

Now open whatever photo software (Or use Word) and then paste the screen shot there - now save and hey presto!

(failing that use your mobile phone camera and E-mail it to yourself or text it to one of us!)

I managed to get it onto Word, as I have no Paint. But I cannot seem to save the actual image, only the Word doc.

:cool2:

I stoopid!
