Ruger Scout Rifle

#1 Post by Sim G »

Looking for a Ruger Scout Rifle in .223. Loads of left hand ones have come up for sale over the last couple of years, but no right handed.

Anyone know of one?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

That's a shame, I have a new left handed one here. Great if you want quick shooting off a bipod or other rest.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Thanks for the offer, but no, I do want a right handed one. But, I’m starting to think that none were imported into the country, just left hand models!!

I had to check as I have not seen a RH model either, however RH is listed with the UK importers if you fancy going down that avenue SimG.

Cheers David. Viking got rid of their last .223 guns a while ago. There was a demonstrator. But by all accounts only suitable for scrapping....

Sportsman's claimed to have some, then when asked, claimed they'd gone. I'm not sure they did. Unlike days of old, it appears SGC operate the same as some others do, wait till they have enough orders, then order. Don't actually carry the claimed stock.

I'll find one eventually! Probably at exactly the wrong time. And there'll be two of them...!!

I’m specifically after a .223/5.56, Roger. I can get a .308 Ruger Scout all over, but a right handed, Mouse-gun is appearing to be Unicorn poop!!

Please remember when trawling round gunshops…

Ruger Gunsite Scout in .223. (They’re actually marked 5.56)

Thanks.

Hi Sim
Is this the sort of thing you're after?
