I have just 'discovered' another Whitaker and am just waiting for details of the serial number to try and get it dated. Interesting how they still turn up from time to time.

I keep looking at the trigger job on this rifle with the revised spring format, was it only Bert who did this or did others do similar?

Not too sure whether Bert's trigger work was unique or not??

Geoff Hart on the other hand preferred to use Brindles triggers.

Do you know if the No4 the only Enfield a Brindle trigger was designed for?

Interesting. Is the new screw adjustable for weight?

Certainly there was a Whitaker suitable for the P14 as I fitted one to mine although at the time.

Time for a new trigger thread regarding the different spring.

My Musgrave (basically a Mauser action) has a Brindles trigger fitted. I'm considering binning it, it's not very consistent.
