Its been a while since I delved into STEN serial numbers, but IIRC, a B prefix serial number denotes a BSA assembled STEN.

Thanks for the info, spent a bit of time on Google earlier and looks like you are correct that it was BSA assembled.

Was pretty exciting to find if I'm honest!

There were actually two brought back, my Grandad had a twin brother and they both returned with a Sten. The other one left the country a long time ago when his brother emigrated but it is still in the family. No one knew he still had this one until we found it though.
