It is not just the for sale posts, people have altered their posts to change what they have said in discussions and refused to accept that they had originally said something different.
As I say use Libre office, or sun office or whatever to type your posts and copy them if you need time to ponder the editing time limit starts from when you have submitted the post not from when you have started the post.
There is also the preview function which is useful to see how your post would read once posted without triggering the time limit.
I am not sure that an actual 15 minutes would make that much of difference to most posters, any changes that I have spotted that I would like to make are usually well after 20 minutes.
