Hi, I am from county Durham and just starting to get into shotgun shooting, just clays at the moment with borrowed guns while I wait for my SGC application to be granted.
My 14yr old son goes grouse and pheasant beating and this has spurred him into the decision to be a gamekeeper when he leaves school, so I have got into shooting to spend time with him and help him gain experience.
Had a few pointers given by people we know at the clay shoots but I still struggle a bit so looking forward to getting a gun fit done and buying my own gun.
Until then I will be scanning the forum for advice and posting a few questions so all advice will be greatly received.
Cheers.

Hi and welcome to the forum - just don't expect any pearls of wisdom from me when it comes to scatter gun shooting, I'm absolutely hopeless.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
