Costs to Enter the Imperial

#1 Post by Quarters »

Hi,
Thinking of entering the Imperial for the first time this year TR or F/TR.

Can anybody tell what the costs are likely to be or what last year's were? I'm thinking of going in for some of the competitions on Century on Middle Saturday and Sunday.

Is it about £35 per competition for TR and that includes ammunition and about £20 for F\TR but you bring your own ammunition?

Thanks

Hi Quarters,

I've just tried to find last years entry form for prices, but guess what!!!!!

I can't remember individual comps prices as I enter the grand aggregate en bloc, approx £450 to include ammo and markers. You certainly can enter just a few comps - that's just what I did to start. I tried 3 x F class comps one year but then started 'real' shooting - TR! ( Now awaiting the abuse!)

I'm sure Karen, Iain or Heather on this forum would be the best people as they are 'the knowers of all things NRA'! It may be the prices have yet to be fixed.

I'm not highly experience at Imperial level but God willing, I should be there and would be very happy to 'hold your hand' to start you off -OK don't worry, not literally!

Good luck and maybe see you around The Common.

Prices have been decided and entry forms went to printers yesterday. Online entry should be available soon.

Unfortunately prices are at work and I am at home today - will post later

Just looked at my receipt from last year.
To enter all the TR matches from from first friday to the end of the Grand Agg (including Queens 1 and Georges 1) cost £424.35. Thats 15 matches all including ammunition. I expect this year to have at least a 10% increase.

TR prices are (all in price including markers and ammo)

2ss & 10 round shoots - £25.10
2ss & 15 round shoots - £35.35
Queens Prize - £55.85
Admiral Hutton, Lovell & Donegall - £22.20
Century - £44.40

F Class prices are (including markers - provide own ammo)

2ss & 15 round shoots - £20.05
Queens Prize - £31.55
Admiral Hutton, Lovell & Donegall - £17.85
Century - £35.70

NB F Class comps are all 2ss & 15 round shoots except for Queens and Century

If you are not a member then a meeting membership fee of £55 is payable which includes insurance.

The good news is that all the warm up competitions have been kept at 2011 prices to encourage more entries!

Online entry hopefully available in a week or so - TR/MR paper entry forms in next Journal. Email me or Mik Mak for F Class entry forms

Hope that all makes sense

Love

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Ask for an "Aunt or Uncle" if you need extra help in your first meeting

And if you want a practice why not enter the Easter Meeting - Rox will look after you

Love
