Well done all who survived the Diggle micro climate to put in some excellent scores.

I spoke to ENS earlier and he did well and enjoyed himself.

Very disappointed not to be there but I will hopefully get sorted soon.

Diggle, one of the only places I know of that you can have whiteout conditions then when you get into lower Saddleworth you'd be forgiven for thinking you were in another dimension.

Adding a few things to the small pile of kit I am lugging around

1. A front board
Since I added the bag rider it has added at least a inch on the back - decreasing the effective muzzle angle.
Match 1 : At 500 yards at Diggle my Bipod liked a thin eifel tower and I was still aining nowhere near the target!
Les Hogate saved my with a plank - but I was still rattled and setting up the configuration as shooting started!
Well into 8 or 9 shots before I had settled down! :G

2. Fresh patches (my own)
We had some serious patch loss over the 2 days!!!
Seriously irrattating & slows everything down!

3. Golf trolley
Decided that is the best to attach and lug thing around own!

4. Range rucksack - missues will use sewing skills
Have a 1 bag that can carry mat, score sheet etc in on big lump!
Better than try to grip 5 or 6 seperate disparate items!
May take orders once perfected!

What is the maximum elevation of your bipod ENS?

Not sure sure - must measure up and see

It was the combination of :
1. On the particular target point level - too flat
2. Angle to target at 500 yards and
3. The new rider

At 600 it was not an issue

Had similar issue at 300 and 500 at Bisley when the firing point drops off the front!!
