Re: Fac scotland
Back in March/April they stopped processing all grants and variations to concentrate on renewals during the lockdown...now we're in October it appears that these are now being processed based on hearing that people have been getting variations, starting the process of getting their FAC/SGC etc. As far as how long...officially, you could be looking a 9-12 months for an initial grant of a FAC/SGC - even though it's one force, it's still based around local departments. Your best bet is to contact your local firearms dept and get it from them...

Spoke to police scotland and been told not to expect and kind of time scale, basically when its dealt with then that will be it. I'll be thinking closer towards the year mark.
