Foam

#1 Post by the running man »

Right, so ive bought this fancy rifle, and i want to get it into a foam hard case, properly protected etc.... My question is, whats the trick with cutting the foam? Ive tried it b4 and made a right mess of it, nice neatly cut fitting lines...

If you don't have a carving knife you might want to to try one of these in a jigsaw: http://www.axminster.co.uk/bosch-t313aw ... des-501700

Great find Polchraine! Thanks.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I helped a friend do this just recently. I gave him a length of resistance wire (purchased from Maplin) and he used it with a jig and a car battery to get a very professional result.
