https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/b ... .8-14.html - second page, clause 22, two Labour MPs introduce a clause banning owning the bits to make your own ammunition.

With all these clauses introduced and then withdrawn the main issue was somewhat overshadowed.
It speaks for the future that those withdrawn clauses are the direction that certain MPs wish to follow.

Standard tactic of asking for 1 thing, getting resistance, then asking for 10 things, then after more resistance you go back to just asking for 1 thing to seem reasonable troutslapping

Some of the female labour MPs definitely don't like guns. But then, given what happened to Jo Cox, they may have good reason.

These are all Labour Party Politicians. Why aren't there any Conservative Party Politicians listed in the proceedings?
(yes, I know it was a Conservative Government that took away handguns).

Because the politicians have or need one so it is not even considered.

Becasue the Conservative input appears as Government, and the relevant Minister (Victoria Atkins) does the talking unless she feels she needs some help. The Committee had a Government majority in its makeup.

A bigger question is why NABIS are prompting them [Labour] without also informing the Tories. It's almost like NABIS have an agenda...
