Thames Valley North.

1 month from them receiving application until confirmation text message.
Another month till text message confirming Firearms officer visit.
2 weeks wait before he arrived.
1 month after visit and I'm still waiting.

Waiting time so far.....123 days.
If you knock off the weekends and holidays......85 days.

It's not like I'm keeping check ;)

I remember my first FAC in Thames Valley back in the 80s. I think it was a little over a month - and there was a lot of people putting in for them due to a wonderful new club / shop setting up in the area. I seem to recall the local FEO was Peter Laidler - yes, that, one,the authority on Lee Enfields.

My renewal took three months in 2015. Variations take around six weeks on average.
