Well that's the way to do it 'hand in your unwanted gun' 2 weeks should see all the criminals hand them in
Another plan to take weapons away from criminals except the guns will be investigated .

On the radio news this morning there was a female Police officer saying:
"we're not naive enough to think criminals will hand in their guns, but any guns taken out of circulation cannot be stolen and used in crime"
(or something like that...)

Be worth buying a brightly coloured water pistol just to get that warm doing good feeling when handing it in.

These amnesties are just silly. If they work then why did they not get all the guns that were never on the streets the last tme round?

Note the victim blaming too when she mentions; "Stolen guns"!

FYI there is a firearms amnesty on. It started yesterday.
I'm not sure if it is nationwide but it is active in Durham
Got any really manky crap to get rid of???
