Weren't HSBC fined $1.9 Billion recently for allowing $881 Million of Mexican drug money through their accounts? The irony.

Don't feel you're singled out. When I worked for a high street bank, one of my customers approached me for finance to assist in setting up a ...... lap dancing club. The answer came back no due to chance of reputational risk!

So does this mean that gun retailers no longer have bank accounts?

I find that hard to believe..............

I had a Ltd company when doing maritime security.

When setting up the HSBC business account, they guy doing the paperwork told me to lie about the nature of the work because if armed security work abroad was mentioned, the account would be closed on the grounds of HSBC not giving bank accounts to "mercenaries" lol

He openly admitted that he despaired at the decision making of those in charge !

Most have bank accounts however they are using accounts under a different name.

If you are a gun shop then you are very likely trading as "sports/outdoor store".
