Re: Which monitored alarm ?
Dualcom here. No more secure than Redcare but less bad call outs if the phone line goes down (in my case happens more than I'd like, a truck takes out the pole, trees fall on the line etc).
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.
Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

I’m not an RFD but the MET were happy with Verisure alarms they build the system to your specs. It works on a mobile network so no potential phone line problems, and you have full control via your mobile phone. Just another thought.

Re: Which monitored alarm ?
Monitoring service for us is GBP200/year +VAT and remember to factor in annual services which are a must. We did have a keyholder service however I happened to ask about the dogs and was told if they got out of hand they would be reported to the police as being dangerous which was interesting considering an old FEO told me he much preferred noisy dogs over alarms a deterrent.
As an aside we just had a power cut and it was interesting to hear alarms going off all over the place, the importance of having a fully maintained system means we never need worry about such things, nor a loss of signal...
