Went today.. if you like pretty shot guns, green clothing and expensive optics its great.

In fairness its a decent turn out with lots of nice stuff.

Eley selling .22 cheap, picked up a couple of thousand. Plenty of nice optics to try.

Went today. Bought some Eley Action, at £5 more than Kirklees for a thousand.
The stand outs for me were Triple-S Staffordshire Synthetic Stocks https://www.staffs-synthetic-stocks.com/index.php
The Americans guys promoting Primary Arms Optics on Sportsman's booth, very friendly and knowledgeable and they knew the recent shot show gossip, so that was a chuckle.
Beechwood for telling me the trade price on the MRO.
Vortex for helping me to realise Their UH-1 would be a waste of my money.
JP at Optics Warehouse was super helpful.
Free Hornady hats from Simpsons Brothers.

I bought a shotgun at a decent price at one of the shows several years back so it was worth the ticket then.
Mostly I've found myself coming away with stuff I didn't immediately need just to try and make myself feel that I hadn't wasted a lot of time, petrol, and money getting there. I didn't go last year and won't tomorrow. Saves on the disappointment.

They have a 1-8 that is comparable to my strike eagle for less money and claimed to have a daylight bright reticle illumination.
I also looked at their 1-8 in FFP and there's no way I would pay £1400 for it.
