The times goes on the Anti-Gun War path.
All in there will be 4 Anti-Gun articles in today's times.
Our old friend Mike Yardley will be happy, his name is in there right across from the smirking face of the Christchurch killer.

Last time this happened I was surprised to find there was very little public support for changes and even the comments sections of these articles were full of people all saying you can’t legislate against insanity. Not just gun owners either.

When you read articles like that one above they are misinformed , inaccurate and just plain bo...cks.
Why do people write such crap ?

Why? Because it fits an agenda of someone. Doesn't matter that it's factually incorrect. Poop sticks.

The mantra of the media, is as always, never let the true facts get in the way of a good story that manipulates public perception to suit your own agenda.

That second article looks pretty balanced to me, not anti gun. They let the shop owners speak and stress the requirement for a license and background checks etc.

Their leader article in the same issue is not balanced though. Entitled Arms Control, it says that military style weapons must not be available to private gun enthusiasts, and adds "A paucity of guns translates into a low level of gun crime" and "Keeping firearms out of the hands of fanatics is a public duty".safetyfirst wrote:That second article looks pretty balanced to me, not anti gun.
