4.49mm domed pellets
I am looking for some 4.49mm domed pellets. The Original 65 I shoot loves the 8.18 grain Finale match however they are flat and the rules of the league I shoot in calls for domed only, so I need to find a suitable replacement.
Can anyone recommend or even suggest a make I can source here in the UK.

Hmm...I don't think I've ever seen anything other than flats in 4.49.
It might be worth getting a couple of trial packs and seeing if there is something in larger sizes that works for you.

H&N Sport?
I used them in my old Diana. They are domed but 4.5mm rather than 4.49mm - does that extra 0.01 scupper the suggestion?

Air rifles can be very pellet fussy. Different brands, weight and sizing can change it from single hole groups to a 6" spread at 25m

I know. That's why I asked if the tiny difference was viable. There really isn't a lot of choice in domed pellets to that exact 4.9 mm spec.tfb wrote:Air rifles can be very pellet fussy. Different brands, weight and sizing can change it from single hole groups to a 6" spread at 25m

I know in my Daystate there is a marked difference between 4.51 and 4.52 JSB's

Years ago I had a Walther LP53 air pistol and it was very ammo sensitive. Back then there was no internet and you pretty much got what was in the local shops or advertised in Gun Mart etc. I found Milbro pellets were pretty good - provided I first ran the entire tin through the barrel with a wooden dowel.tfb wrote:Dark Skies wrote:I know. These guys do one in 4.49 - I've had a look at these but not yet tested them - Quality looks extremely good:

Ah, they would be worth a look. I can see I will be busy ringing around to get some samples in these coming days :)
