"hardcore firearms"
An example of the loathsome ignorance and stupidity we are up against!

EU 'regulation' will not stop.

That's a rather arrogant assertion...............

The person who made the comment has no political connections, and as the creator of a very successful s/ware company, can hardly be regarded as ignorant and stupid.

There will always be people who associate firearms with violence, especially in Europe, and consequently support any excuse/opportunity to restrict their use, so suck it up, or better still, expend your energy engaging with them and showing them that shooting can be a safe fun sport.............and a great fun sport.

He (or she) may be a successful in the business world, sadly, however, by your own admission woefully lacking in knowledge and awareness. Ergo, ignorant and uninformed.

I’d say the hugely overwhelming majority of people will always see firearms as weapons and so they should too given their exposure to them.

Nothing stupid about that at all, every time they see one it’s either on tv being used as a weapon or in real life being used by the police as a weapon.

Ranting on about the “stupid ignorant people” that form 99% of the population isn’t going to bring about the kind of change people who shoot for pleasure would like.

Stop ranting and take your friends shooting.

The couple of people I know that 'run' their own software/IT companies can barely tie their own shoe laces, as they are so consumed by the geek stuff, and have been since teenagers. In fact, while they technically own a company, in both cases, they earn loads of money, but running a company, is a very loose term and they have to employ someone else to actually do that task, as they're not really capable of running a bath, let alone a company!
