With the announcement that Lantac will be issuing 9mm straight pull uppers at some stage. What do I need to apply for as I only want the upper to go on my AR lower.

Depends on the force in question.

In Suffolk I asked for one 22lr upper receiver in order to acquire a 22 upper. After purchase, and following renewal it is shown on my FAC as one 22 upper receiver with no visible marking (serial number).

For my DTA SRS conversions Suffolk record the barrels and bolts as separate items.

As above, it varies 8-) My force record each item separately, so 'spare receiver', 'spare barrel' and 'spare bolt assembly' (or at least they have with me in the past)

I have seen them listed as 'barrelled action', 'receiver and barrel assy' and as individual components. Bolts don't need to be listed separately just like flash hiders, but they are still controlled components.

I suppose I will have to contact my FEO to find out what Essex require. Wish my luck!
