It’s an EU law that has been forced upon us because Brexit has been delayed.

Hello
Talking with a RFD friend recently, and I agree "silly" looks like the end is nigh for de-ac collectors. But when has anything that the government implemented regarding firearms made any sense. Latest EU regs already stipulate welded solid lumps of steel.
If and when we exit the EU do you think anyone will revoke this " I don't think so"

What a total waste of time.
Registering a pile of metal.

Regulation 4 covering transitional arrangements states that details of de-acts acquired before 18th September 2018 must be advised by 14th March 2021.

Strangely it seems that we don't have to register 'defectively deactivated' firearms, only ones deactivated to the current standard.
