Anyone going to the NSRA Show on the 23rd August?

£90 for a pitch, was thinking about going to promote the range a bit.

Or a dead duck show you think?

I'm inclined to think that if it goes ahead it would be a dead duck, but who knows?

It’s the arms fair that’s normally held at Kempton park
which is normally very busy
Mainly historic and antique arms but well worth a look around especially as it’s outside
I think it’s just being held on the field by the nsra and isn’t anything to do with them

We were at Kempton a few weeks ago, weather was awful but huge numbers of punters turned up.

a friend and myself did it a couple of years ago, selling 58/2, section 1 and 2.
We tried a couple of times but we found it not really worth while, but firearms had only just started to be sold.
A couple of years further on, there may be more interest.
Plus not many shows about.
Having said all that I am going to have a look

I plan to be there but mainly to meet John from DS Solutions - if there's more of interest then that'll be a bonus!

Kempton Park Arms Fair Cancelled
Event Moved To Epsom Downs Racecourse
It is with great regret we have to announce the cancellation of the Kempton Park Arms Fair due to take place at Bisley on Sunday 23 August. With nearly 100 traders booked and good visitor numbers expected it is even more frustrating to have to cancel as a result of the restrictions imposed by the NRA. The event was first discussed early this year and since the onset of the Pandemic we have looked to adapt the Fair to make it Covid Secure. This is why it was to be held outside.
However we have been unable to secure the level of co-operation and collaboration required from our neighbours to enable it to go ahead. If events of the last few months have taught us nothing else then surely working together should be one. We feel particularly sorry for organisers. Pete and Liz Binfield plus their traders, supporters and friends. At least they have been able to save the event and Epsom’s gain is our loss in more ways than one. It is our hope this setback will prove to be temporary in our attempts to bring this much loved and popular event to the home of shooting.
Good luck Pete and Liz and we look forward to seeing you at Epsom on 23 August.
