Using an air rifle in a garden

Hello
Has anybody got any up to date information on the legality of using an air rifle in a garden.
I live in the North west and we are again under an extended lockdown period with no end in sight, so I thought that I would make myself
a 25M range, have got fed up cleaning oiling refurbishing and making ammunition.
I have seen a presentable BSA Springer Mercury in .22 @ 7.5ft/lbs.

Very simply.
Airguns may be used only on land where the user has full permission to shoot. This may be your garden, or private land owned or leased by an individual or club. Remember, wherever you shoot, you must ensure that all of your pellets remain within the boundary of the land to which your shooting permission applies

As Andy said, if its your garden and your range is safe your good to go.

My lockdown project was a range in the garden although the part of the garden i'm using is only good for 15 - 20 metres, just need to get the half a 20 ft shipping container lifted in front of the earth bank against the back wall and then fill with a sand bank and cover it in soil and i'm almost there

Why not get yourself a .177 and shoot in the postal Bell target league with us, you can even download a target to print out and the competition is shot at 18 feet so room in most gardens.

Anyone from anywhere can join and we even have people from Germany, South Africa and Hungary shooting with us. Also, we shoot 4 different classes, so whatever you have you can shoot as long as it is a .177

You might want to let your neighbours know that you're shooting an air rifle in your garden - lest you end up with a gang of armed cops on your front lawn.
Also if you have a vindictive neighbour they might use it against you to stir the s*** - making allegations about shooting their cat, putting out their greenhouse windows, and that sort of thing.

Perhaps consider the time of day too so no one can claim you're being anti social ?
